Grant Program: Safe Streets and Roads for All

Project Name/Description: Calabasas Vision Zero: This award will be used by the City of Calabasas to develop a comprehensive safety action plan and conduct supplemental planning and demonstration activities. The supplemental planning activities would include the developmental of sub-plans, community engagement, roadway safety audits, website development, and the development of a Complete Streets policy and Design Guide. The demonstrations activities would include HAWK installation, temporary roundabouts, temporary Class IV bikeways, crosswalk art installation at local schools, poster series for traffic safety education, and an ITS pilot program.
